Yes I know I have been a little slow in updating our blog and I sincerely apologize. So now per your request. Sit back and relax and see some of the fun stuff that has been going on.

Today we took a trip to Longaberger Basket Company. We remember Maureen wanting to go

when she was here, but they were closed for the winter. Then we saw it again on the Discovery Channel. So decided to take a road trip. It was fun to see all the different types of baskets and the history of how it all was started. Though they were very nice they were also VERY expensive. All I could picture is one of the kids using it as a boat or some other fun toy and ruining it. So for all our sakes we decided to wait for another time to purchase something. It was a fun day and wish we would have been able to experience it with Maureen & Dyann. Maybe next time.

My New Motto

After spending many months worrying about what we should be doing. Where we should be living. If I should attend nursing school here. It all came into focus with a saying I heard.

You are too concerned with what was and what will be. Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called a present.

I'm sure some of you have heard this before. It is new to me. No more worrying about WHAT TO DO.. Just enjoy the moment.

Jacob's Field Trip

Birthdays, Field Trip, School, First Aid training so much stuff in so little time and this is just the beginning. This was such a busy week. We had my Dad's birthday and Jacob had a party to go to. That little boy is quite the Babe magnet. All the little girls are inviting him to their parties. We went to the College of Wooster for a field trip for Jacob. All the little girls wanted to be his partner. He defiantly has the Peck curse. Zach started school this week. He was wondering as he walked out the door " What the heck am I doing" The call on his way home was all about how great his class was. Defiantly very proud of my Hubby. I finally turned in all my papers for the financial part of nursing school. I have been accepted, now just waiting to see if I have the money to go. Will know by Friday. The girls are getting close to finishing school. They are having field trips, going swimming this week. I don't know who is more excited for Summer break. The kids or Zach & I. Probably won't be as much fun as last Summer, but we'll have fun. Ty is being himself. Keeping us on our toes at all times. Hope all is well. Love and miss EVERYONE.
