Spending some fun time with Grandma & Grandpa
Ty in a Box...

We found a new discovery in the woods behind the house.

This very large tree fell in the last storm leaving it completely uprooted

Its Not Even Thanksgiving Yet...

Ok, so I am so excited to share this photo. I have been waiting forever to get a shot of this guy. I was thinking of having him for Thanksgiving dinner, but I think he might decline. So I guess we will just have to have his cousin. I think he hangs out in the frozen food section at Wal-Mart.

A Visit to Amish Town..

We decided after Madison finished volleyball practice that we would just take a drive up to Amish Country. It ended up being the weekend everybody else in the country decided to do the same thing. We went to the cheese factory, but the line to get in was over an hour long wait. So we decided to go to see the worlds largest coo coo clock. The clock really works chimes and all.
On the drive we obviously saw many Amish people. I love seeing these guys. I am always amazed by them. Before gas prices started to drop, we were thinking abut upgrading to a nice horse and buggy. The kids were against it from the start. No place to install a tv. I loved the picture of the little boys, just happened to get a non evasive shot of them. They don't seem to mind having their pictures taken, but I don't want them to feel like a tourist attraction, because these are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. We were also able to see a lot of the countryside. It is so beautiful when the leaves are changing, hopefully you can tell by the pictures. The kids are continuing to love it here and are growing bigger each day it seems. I look at the pictures from over the summer and it scares me on how much they seem to have changed. So hopefully with this blog we can all watch the wonderful changes and experience we are having in our lives here in Ohio. Well everybody seems to be falling asleep around me. I guess that's what happens when you get up early for church. Guess I join them.
Love,
Kathy

Hip Hip Hooray Gas Is Only $2.98 Today

So today was an amazing day. First Ty all by himself chose to go to the potty. Then on the way to the store we saw that gas was only $2.98 per gallon. Will miracles never seize to amaze us.
We went to Applebees for a fund raiser for Madison & Gracies school and we won Zach a box of golf balls. Maybe we should have played the lottery today. The only wish that didn't come true today was the laundry fairy forgot to show up. Maybe tomorrow.

A Fun Week

We had a fun week. I think we are pretty much settled in, may have a few things left to do but everything has come together pretty well. Madison and Gracie had Grandparents Day at school. The schools here make it a pretty big deal, so it was fun to have Nana & Papa come down and stay a few days. Next year with enough notice Grandma & Grandpa Peck will have to come.Jacob will be starting preschool tomorrow. We found out on Friday they had a spot open in the class. So needless to say we are all happy with this news, especially Jacob. He has been looking so forward to this day. After we registered him at the school we found the most incredible park about 2 miles from the house. I think we will be spending quit a bite of time there before winter hits. We actually had cool enough weather to light the fireplace. The kids were excited as was I. I think we will be going through a lot of wood this winter. With all the exciting news this week the most shocking was to hear about the new temple being built in Rome. I think we should all take a family and friend trip to the dedication. Let's Start Saving Now!!! Well time to take care of the family. Love and Miss everyone.
Love,
Kathy
