Hill Cumorah Pageant

The following pictures are not in chronological order.
I was in a hurry to get these posted & did not have enough
time to list them properly.
At the last minute we decided to go to the Hill Cumorah Pageant. We thought we could not pass on seeing it, being we are so close and it could be a few years before the next opportunity. The drive there brought back fun memories of our trips last summer. We arrived 3 hours early so we could get good seats. The time passed by quickly with all the fun stuff to see and the interaction of the cast. It was amazing to hear the different personnel stories of the people we spoke to. We found out you had to be 18 the be in the pageant by yourself or you could participate as a family all ages welcomed. My first thought was Ty taking down all the Lamanites by himself, no need for earthquakes & fires. The show was amazing. We were not able to use flash photography or record any of the pageant. Unfortunately my pictures did not turn out very well. So much blurriness, but hopefully you get the idea of how amazing it was. We truly had an amazing time. Thankfully there was no rain and the the kids (meaning Ty) were happy and content. So if ever the opportunity arises take advantage of seeing the pageant.

Holiday Weekend..

Walking through the fair. Maybe we should have taken a detour!

Jacob & friend McKenzie. The girls teased
him relentlessly.

Waiting for the candy.

Madison & Natalie.

Loud sirens.

Since we weren't able to spend our 4th of July in Logan with Klint, Mary-Jo and the gang. We were very fortunate to have some friends invite us over for the parade and fireworks. We really enjoyed ourselves. The parade was the best. The kids were able to collect candy and all sorts of goodies. On the 4th we were able to watch the fireworks up close. They have a house they are trying to sell, so we sat on the front yard and had a front row seat. It really helped with being so homesick. Its fun making new friends, but we miss EVERYONE so much.. Hope everyone had a Great 4th of July...
